45th Anniversary

Jetstream of Houston, LLP, proudly celebrates its 45th anniversary this year, marking over four decades since its founder revolutionized the water blasting market with the introduction of the world’s first easily interchangeable UNX fluid end.

Bill Krupowicz, vice president of Federal Signal’s Environmental Solutions Group and general manager of Jetstream, remarked:

“This is an incredible milestone for any company. Jetstream has achieved this success through the hard work, passion, and dedication of our team members; the development and continued improvements on our manufacturing procedures; and our culture of customer service that exists throughout the entire organization. We have dedicated ourselves to over 39 years of product innovation and engineering efficiencies to deliver superior products, services, and solutions to our customers.”

Company Origins

From a humble garage operation in Houston, Texas, that began in 1976, Jetstream has pioneered the development of many products that are now considered the industry standard and has grown into a global leader in the design and manufacture of industrial high-performance water blasting equipment, products, and solutions.

In 1982, Jetstream manufactured its first proprietary product, a water blasting gun that introduced Jetstream’s foundational design elements using cartridge technology to maximize operator effectiveness and minimize maintenance downtime. Since then, the company’s product portfolio has grown exponentially over the years to include a variety of high-performance diesel and electric pump units, control guns, rotary tools, and nozzles for a wide range of industry applications, along with various automated and robotic solutions.

Most recently, the company introduced the Jetstream TwinForce™ 800-hp waterblast system and the Jetstream DrillJet™ tube cleaning nozzle. The TwinForce system builds upon the success of its predecessor, the TwinForce 650-hp system, taking a step up in power and performance. The all-new DrillJet™ nozzle, rated for pressures up to 22,000 psi, is designed unlike any other on the market to deliver improved durability and extended runtimes for cleaning and unplugging heat exchangers and industrial tube bundles.

Far more than just products, Jetstream leads the industry in customer service and training offerings to ensure productivity, profitability, and continued safety improvements on the job. In the United States, our products are serviced by FS Solutions. Through our partnership, Jetstream parts, accessories, and rentals are available at 13 rental locations across the United States. These FS Solutions rental centers provide industrial cleaning customers with equipment evaluations, expert recommendations, and solutions, and water blasting safety training.

To this day, Jetstream is still driven by the pioneering spirit of our founder, which has enabled us to continue pushing the industry forward and expand our offering portfolio.

“As we honor Jetstream’s successful past, we also plan on creating a bright future,” Krupowicz said. “We are building upon our heritage of expertise and innovation, developing new products to maintain our leadership position in the water blasting marketplace. We will continue to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations, as well as grow our international presence and our rental location footprint in North America.”
